It’s a straightforward base for exploring the vibrant city. The rooms are basic yet neat, featuring essential amenities like a flat-screen TV, reliable Wi-Fi, and adequate heating for chilly nights. While I didn’t utilize air conditioning during my visit in early April, I appreciated the option for future stays. A mini-fridge would have enhanced the experience, but I was informed that you can request extra facilities should you need them. For a solo traveler like myself, it felt safe and welcoming, which is undoubtedly a priority. Considering the central location, the price is quite reasonable—offering a good mix of comfort and accessibility without the hefty price tag of a luxury hotel. Hostal Ivor is a pragmatic choice for those looking to explore Madrid on a budget.
